What is it?
The Ouray Mountain Air Music Series involves four to five summer concerts featuring live music, drinks, fundraisers, and fun for all genres of music lovers and their families.
The event organizers choose to put the bands on a professional stage, so that listeners can get a great view of the bands. The stage has professional lighting and sound systems, has a lot of room for performers, and even rainproof siding if the clouds roll in.
Taking place every Thursday in June, at Fellin Park, concerts are free and open to the public. Each nightly performance is both pet and family-friendly and you can choose to purchase your dinner from a selection of local food and drink. Just be sure you bring your own chair or blanket and come early to get yourself a good spot!
Activities During the Music Series
Nonprofits scatter Ouray’s Fellin Park. They sell beer, wine, and other alcohol to raise money for their organizations. Other nonprofits offer fun games, food, and other entertainment for those with kids.
The Fellin Park is right across from the Ouray Hot Springs. Not only do you get to listen to great music, but you can also soak in the warm, mineral-filled waters of our hot springs pool either before, during, or after the concert takes place!
Even better, the shops and restaurants along Ouray’s main street stay open later than usual. Because of this, it’s the perfect time to explore our mountain town and all it has to offer! If you are wanting to listen to even more live music after the main show, the opening bands often perform again at one or more of the local pubs or restaurants.
What Kind of Music Does the Ouray Mountain Air Music Series Play?
